U16 Sharks enjoy Elsham paintball trip for final presentation

For the final time under the Scotter Juniors banner, the U16 Sharks held their end-of-season presentation at the weekend – visiting Elsham Activity Centre for an afternoon of paintball.
It marks the end of what’s been a memorable journey through the age groups for the squad, who deserve particular praise for the effort and commitment they’ve shown in what has been a tough final year.
They’ve often found themselves down in numbers compared to opposition teams this season, but have battled on regardless, showing their commitment to one another – and continuing to turn up with smiles on faces.
Picking up the team’s player of the season trophies were Harrison Greenfield (Parents’ Player and Manager’s Player, pictured right) and Olly Shafer (Players’ Player, pictured centre), while there was a special long service award for Joshua White (pictured left), who has been a part of the team since its inception 10 years ago.
Though they still have one final Jack Kalson League match to come – against Barton Town on Sunday, April 16 – we wanted to say a big well done to all players for their efforts.
All at the club wish you all the best moving forward, and in your future football journey. We’re not tearing up, you are…
