The U14 Colts are the second of our sides in cup final action this weekend, as they meet Brigg Town in the U14 Divisional Trophy final on Sunday. 

The game is taking place at the Hawthorns ground in Brigg – the home of the Brigg Town senior team – with an 11am kick-off.

The Colts are up against it against a Zebras side who have already won the F4 IT Division One title, and are seeking what would be an impressive double. 

However, there was little between the teams when they met in the league last weekend, a game in which Brigg had the edge in a 3-2 scoreline. 

Like the U10 Saints, regardless of what happens over the weekend, the Colts can look back with plenty of positivity on their efforts during the last seven months, in which they have secured their highest-ever league placing of fourth and reached their first-ever cup final. 

Good luck to both them, and Brigg, for what will hopefully prove an entertaining and close contest.
