A week today (Friday, July 8) sees our second Signing-On Day at the Village Hall, as we get ready for the 2022/23 season.
The aim is to get players registered on the FA’s Whole Game System – so they are affiliated to play for the club in the Jack Kalson League – pay subs, and give players an opportunity to have their picture taken proudly sporting their club colours.
We’ve made a few tweaks to last year’s signing-on event, including switching it to a Friday evening – we know weekends in the summer are precious, and it’s been a busy period for our teams in tournaments.
We’re also trying to be a bit less rigid with times, so rather than working to tight slots, we’re asking players in the U7 and U11 bracket to attend between 5pm and 6.15pm, and U12 to U16 between 6.15pm and 7.15pm.
Players should wear full kit if they want their picture taken. We’re keeping photos in-house this year – but we’re hoping to have them available to sell as digital downloads for a small donation, all proceeds from which will go back into the club.
For payment of subs, we’ll be accepting cash and will have a card machine present. You can also pay online, via bank transfer.
Before attending next Friday, all parents should complete an online registration form for their child. These should have been forwarded on by your team’s coach.
