There was a special presentation to club chair Bridget White at Tuesday night’s Jack Kalson Junior League AGM.
In recognition of her contributions to the club over the years, she received the Vaughan Foster Award for services to local grassroots football from league chairman Vaughan Foster.
Having initially served as an assistant manager when her son Josh started out as an U7 in 2013, Bridget soon after joined the club’s executive committee and was secretary prior to taking on the role of chair in 2020.
She said: “While it’s pleasing to be recognised, I do what I do only to try to ensure that every child can play and enjoy football, without anyone being left out.”
