The U10 Juniors saw their hopes of a place in the final of the Jack Kalson League U10 Cup dashed on Saturday, when they were beaten by Bottesford Town at the Village Hall.

But up against a good, footballing team, from the division above, they can be proud of their performance – and for making it through to the last four of the competition.

In a battling display, they gave it their best shot from first whistle to last, creating some good scoring opportunities as a result of individual talent and good team play.

They certainly showed the progress they have made over the course of the campaign, and will be hoping to carry that form on when they face Brigg Town this coming weekend.  Good luck to Bottesford in the final.
