While the current campaign still has a few weeks to run for several of our sides, we know one group of players for whom September – and the start of next season – can’t come quick enough!
Our U6 Juniors are super excited about being a part of the Jack Kalson Junior League next term, and we’re equally looking forward to seeing them in action.
Having spent the last couple of years training together as part of our Sunday morning Acorns set-up under coach Tommy, the team have now begun to get their first taste of friendly matches – taking on teams from Kirton Juniors and Barton Juniors in recent weeks.
Thanks to the support of local business Rope Access Trade Solutions, they already look the part – sporting their first-ever kit and training jackets during their game last weekend. We think they look amazing!
