Credit to the U14 Juniors for a battling display in a tough Divisional Trophy clash against App-Frod Saints last weekend.

Any chance of springing an upset against opposition from the division above went out the window as the result of a slow start, in which a strong Frod side netted a barrage of goals.

However, the team battled hard, didn’t allow heads to drop and in the second half produced a much better performance, albeit without being able to get on the scoresheet – despite coming close on a few occasions.

Managers’ player of the match was Harry W (pictured), who changed the shape of the game by plugging the gap in the middle of the pitch while also driving forward and creating chances.

Theo’s tireless display saw him pick up the parents’ award. He didn’t stop throughout, giving 100% from first whistle to last, while also showing discipline and a fantastic attitude.
