U12 Juniors ensure Dan signs off on a high with App-Frod win

There was a guard of honour for the U12 Juniors’ Dan during their final Jack Kalson League game of the season on Tuesday night.
Having been a key part of the team right from their formation, he is departing the club this summer as the move to 11-a-side football, and a switch of match days to a Sunday, clashes with other sporting commitments.
Dan signed off by helping the team to a 3-1 victory over App-Frod Saints, and his efforts were rewarded with both the coaches’ and parents’ player-of-the-match awards.
Coach Phil Lowry said: “Dan has been a player who has developed so much and from my perspective as a coach has been a dream to work with.
“He will leave us having put his heart and soul into being the best he can be, a great teammate who has been dedicated.
“We wish him all the best with rugby – even if it is the wrong shaped ball!”
Good luck Dan, and thanks for your contributions over the years.
