The U11 Juniors had a brilliant football-filled day on Saturday, following up an entertaining Jack Kalson Junior League match with Keadby Juniors in the morning with a visit to Scunthorpe United in the afternoon.

As official flagbearers for the Iron’s Vanarama National League clash with Aldershot Town, the boys welcomed the two teams onto the Glanford Park pitch prior to kick-off.

They then watched on from the stands as the two teams shared six goals – three of which were in the opening 10 minutes – and Scunthorpe made it six games without defeat.

We hope they enjoyed their day, even though the final scoreline was a little frustrating!
