The U11 Juniors completed their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory at Park Tigers on Tuesday – with Jack (pictured left) and Alex picking up player of the match honours.
Alex opened the scoring in a first-half in which the team dominated possession, without being able to take any of the numerous other chances that they created.
They deservedly scored a second goal late on when Fraiser found the back of the net with a looping header from a ball into the box from Alex.
The victory came on the back of a good day for the team at the Dale Park Tournament on Saturday. Undefeated in all of their seven games in the group stages, the Juniors were beaten 3-0 by a very good Hull United side in the last 16 – but only conceded four goals all day in what was their first taste of action since last season came to a close.
They begin their Jack Kalson Junior League campaign against Barton Juniors this weekend.
