U10 Saints play with confidence and belief against Dale Park

Some great work in attack – at both linking play and not allowing the opposition time to build from the back – saw Charlie (pictured right) pick up the parents’ player of the match award during the U10 Saints’ game with Dale Park at the weekend.
Ben’s contribution, meanwhile, was the pick of a great team performance in the eyes of the coaches, as he displayed calmness in defence and produced some great passes.
Dale Park were the Saints’ cup final opponents of last season, and gave the team another good game.
With no nerves about the possibility of a penalty shootout at the end of the match this time around, the Scotter boys played with confidence and belief.
Also worthy of a mention is the Dale Park goalkeeper, who enjoyed a tremendous game – worthy of an England call-up – with save after save.
Well done to the Saints, who we’re told are looking stronger and more organised every week.
