After a Covid-impacted last couple of years, the U10 Juniors enjoyed their first tournament since 2019 at Park Tigers on Sunday.
Taking part in what will be next season’s age groups, the team didn’t disappoint – winning and losing two, and drawing one of their five group matches, conceding just twice in the process.
That form booked them a place in the semi-finals, where they were beaten 1-0 by Gainsborough Trinity in a close game in which they created plenty of chances, but could not find a goal.
Reflecting on the day, coach Andy said: “It was a great day and I’m super proud of all the boys as they all played their part.”
