Well done to the U10 Juniors’ Oliver and Saxon, who claimed the team’s player of the match awards during a trip to Marshalls Marksmen at the weekend.
A blustery wind made conditions tough for all players, but especially goalkeepers, and both produced some great saves during a stint in between the posts, as well as some impressive tackling skills and pressing when outfield.
We’re really pleased with the continued progress of this team this season, in what is one of our most populated squads of players.
They’re coming on brilliantly as they work towards stepping up towards nine-a-side football – and an opportunity for more pitch time – next year.
