The U16 Jets’ recent end-of-season presentation was a significant one, as they prepare to go their separate ways at the end of their junior football journey.

Times have rarely been easy for the team, but they have battled on, maintained a great attitude and team spirit in often difficult circumstances and gained respect from plenty of people within the club, rival coaches and players, and the Jack Kalson League.

They can be proud of their dedication and desire to continue giving their all. We certainly are.

In this year’s awards, Ewan was voted Players’ Player of the Year, while George was named Parents’ Player of the Year.

There was special recognition also for players James Ede, Daniel West and Luke Robertson, all of whom have been with the team since their formation.

Well done to all members of the squad, and the best of luck moving forward. We hope you carry on playing.
