Midfielder Sam was man-of-the-match for the U13 Colts as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Crosby United on Sunday.
His infectious work ethic, tenacity and reading of the game typified the team’s spirited response to conceding twice in the opening 25 minutes.
They ended the game unlucky to not have more to show for their efforts.
Well done to him for his attitude and determination – which was matched by the rest of the team.
