Everyone at Scotter Junior Football Club was deeply saddened to hear news of the death of 12-year-old Ted Vines, a player for Mid-Lincs County Youth League team Alford Town Football Club, in a road traffic accident while on his way to a match on Sunday morning.
Following correspondence with the Lincolnshire FA and Jack Kalson Junior League, in memory of Ted, we will join many others in the grassroots community by staging a minute’s applause before all of our home matches this coming weekend.
We would also like to express our heartfelt condolences to Ted’s family and friends, team-mates and all connected with Alford Town at this difficult time.
