After a long, hard season, it’s not only players and coaches that are ready for a break…. our pitches are also in need of some r’n’r!

Thanks to all who’ve been involved in taking down the goalposts at the Village Hall this week.

This will allow us to get on with making sure our pitches are looking like the green, green grass of home in time for the start of next season.

From the middle of next week, there’ll be no home matches taking place until September to allow for reseeding and new grass to grow on what are some pretty barren parts of the field.

Training will also be restricted to a number of smaller areas marked out away from matchday pitches. Now all we need is a bit of help from the weather.
