Safeguarding in football is everyone’s responsibility – and the FA is keen for your help to maintain the highest standards across the grassroots game.

The governing body is looking for as many parents as possible to participate in its free online Safeguarding Awareness for Parents & Carers course.

As a club we ensure that all of our coaches are suitably qualified to keep football fair and safe, but we’d also encourage parents to play their part.

The course itself only takes around 30 minutes from start to finish, and everyone who takes part is introduced to all the fundamentals of safeguarding, completely free.

And as a thank you for helping to keep football safe, the FA are entering all parents who complete the course before February 19 entry into a prize draw for the chance to win a signed England shirt.
