The sun came out to witness what proved to be a scintillating match at the Village Hall on Saturday morning.Not only was the weather beautiful, so was the football produced by both the U10 Saints and App-Frod Colts.
Oliver (pictured left) picked up the coaches’ player-of-the-match award for bossing the middle of the park.
That work paved the way for some wonderful shots at goal, only to be denied by some unbelievable goalkeeping from the Colts keeper on several occasions.
The parents’ player-of-the-match accolade went to Reuben, who we’re told received 80% of the votes!
He showed passion and enthusiasm towards keeping possession, and was always keen to win the ball back for the Saints.
