This Sunday we’ll be taking part in a special ‘come and play’ activity day being hosted by the War Memorial Playing Field Association, Scotter Village Hall and the Parish Council.

Between 2-4pm at the Village Hall playing field there’ll be a number of different opportunities to test your power and accuracy from the penalty spot as part of a fun-filled afternoon of activities – and we’d love to see some of our younger players (we know our older age groups have games on a Sunday!) get involved.

Events taking place start at 1pm with family rounders on the field, tennis, and sitting volleyball inside the Village Hall itself.

There’ll also be cycling, new age kurling, bowls, badminton and volleyball later on in the day, and food and drink vendors and a bouncy castle available throughout.

Sporting activities will be followed by a free open air cinema showing Hocus Pocus at 6pm, courtesy of the Parish Council. We look forward to seeing some of you there.
