Running a grassroots football club takes time, effort and dedication, and can only be successful with a little enthusiasm from a lot of different people.
To help us progress and continue with key existing projects and exciting new ones, we’re urgently seeking a volunteer to join our executive team in the position of fundraising officer.
This role involves establishing relations with local businesses to determine new fundraising streams, as well as exploring and applying for what grants the club may be eligible for.
While we continue to have brilliant and loyal support from companies, running a club does not get any easier and we have to pursue as many avenues as possible if we are to grow.
The level of commitment required for the position will vary dependent on the time of the year, though full help and support will be provided from the current committee.
New faces also means new ideas – which are crucial to the club’s progression – and so there’s an opportunity to have a big and rewarding impact on the club’s future.
