Jaiden (pictured right) marked his home debut for the U12 Juniors by picking up the team’s Awards FC trophy during their match with Park Tigers on Saturday.

It was just rewards for a performance full of commitment and endeavour.

He worked back when out of possession, linked play well going forward – creating opportunities for attacking players – and was full of confidence in taking people on and carving out chances for himself.

Troy, meanwhile, came out on top in what was a tight vote for Parents’ Player of the Match, after working hard to create chances and being unfortunate in front of goal.

The game itself ended in a 1-0 victory for the Tigers, in a match that neither side probably deserved to win.
