Harry B took player of the match honours as the U14 Juniors were edged out at Barton Juniors Colts on Sunday.He was a rock in defence, doing everything right with good decision making and getting a tackle in when it mattered.
In what was a very even game, the Juniors were disappointed to lose 2-1, with Leyton finding the back of the net courtesy of an amazing strike on the turn.
Coach Wayne said: “Everyone played exceptionally well, with both Riley and Luca in goal making some brave and brilliant saves.
“There were many more chances missed which could have turned the tide in our favour.”
Well done to the team for their performance, and thanks to those parents who helped out as respect marshalls, and with running the line.
