Goalkeeper Harrison was man of the match for the U12 Juniors on Saturday as they suffered an agonising exit from the Roy Fenwick President’s Cup.
As well as making some fantastic saves, his decision-making about when to come out and use his feet was good, and his distribution excellent.
Unfortunately, Harrison could not help the Juniors book a place in the semi-finals of the competition as despite drawing 2-2 at Gainsborough Trinity – where Troy and Oliver were on the scoresheet – they were beaten 4-2 on penalties.
They will now turn their attention to league action for the remainder of the season, with the team well-placed in the Jack Kalson League U12 Barclays Corporate Division.
