While all of Saturday’s games at the Village Hall fell victim to frozen pitches, some of our teams with away matches were at least able to get some game time.
That list included the U8 Saints, who warmed up a bitterly cold, foggy and frosty morning with some fantastic football against Brigg Town Juniors Football Club Hotspurs.
Accompanying plenty of layers, hats and gloves were some excellent saves from goalkeeper George and a first goal of the season for Ethan – efforts which earned them the team’s man of the match awards.
Well done to the rest of the team, and all of our sides who managed to get a game.
