There was plenty of hard work, silky skills and goals when the U7 Colts took on the U8 Juniors in a friendly on Tuesday night.

The match was played on the seven-a-side pitch, to help the latter get ready for their move up to being U9s next season.

In what proved to be an entertaining contest, Finlay took player of the match honours for the U7 Colts.

He scored a great goal but, more impressive was his reading of the game on the bigger pitch, and his work rate to get back and help clear some dangerous opposition attacks.
