The U7 Colts’ game with Crowle Colts on Saturday ought to have come with a health warning!

After a slow start the the team battled back strongly, showing great spirit and determination in a match that produced an incredible 17 goals – and left fingernails in short supply come the final whistle.

Eight of the Colts’ tally came from Alfie, and included some very well-taken finishes – efforts which helped to earn him the team’s Player of the Match accolade this week.

Well done to both teams for their efforts, and a special shoutout to parents and coaches, who no doubt felt like they’d aged a few years!
