In the first of those two matches – a tight contest that neither team wanted to lose – goalkeeper Harrison (pictured second left) picked up the team’s Awards FC trophy for a composed performance, while Dan’s (left) defensive efforts saw him receive man-of-the-match honours from team-mate Ewan, who was unavailable to play.
Saturday’s game was equally as tight, and while Bottesford played the better football, they were not able to create much in the way of opportunities. Jaiden scored the Scotter goal in a 2-1 loss.
Working hard to nullify visiting attacks, as well as linking play well to the midfield and forward line, Will (right) received the Awards FC trophy.
Ollie C (second right), meanwhile, was also rewarded for a performance full of desire and his willingness to take on the opposition courtesy of great close control.
The team remain two points off the top of the table, and host leaders App-Frod Saints in their final match of the campaign.
