Club vacancy: Assistant welfare officer

As our player numbers continue to grow, so does the demand on our executive committee – particularly when it comes to ensuring we’re meeting strict requirements around safeguarding and the welfare of all our children.
With that in mind, we’re seeking a second welfare officer, to work alongside and assist current incumbent Paul Newbitt.
Full training for this voluntary role – which includes a requirement to complete FA courses – will be provided by the club, with support available at all times. It is specifically being introduced to share the workload, so is an ideal opportunity to learn the ropes without being thrown in at the deep end.
While experience of working with children is preferable, it is not essential. Nor is a background, or strong interest in football. A reasonable standard of computer literacy would be helpful.
If you know someone who would be interested in taking on the role, please get in touch via our Facebook page, or contact club chair Bridget White on 07798 831206.
