Over the past few months we’ve been working with other community groups – including the Playing Fields Committee, Scotter Forward, Scotter Pre-school and Out of School Club and the Village Hall – to form the newly-established Scotter Community Forum group.
The thinking behind the Forum is to work collaboratively for the benefit of the village, sharing knowledge and resources to improve communication and understanding across the different groups, and support fundraising and the delivery of activities.
The first event being worked on is a special ‘Coronation Clean-Up’ that will take place on Sunday, April 30. More details will be publicised closer to the time, but please keep the date free if you can.
The more members of our community willing to chip in to help is of benefit to everyone in the village.
Can we also remind all of our parents, players, coaches, supporters – and those connected with teams visiting the Village Hall and North Moor, to ensure they take all belongings with them when they leave, and use the litter bins provided to dispose of any rubbish.
