All at Scotter Junior Football Club were saddened to learn of the passing of former player Owen Newton earlier this week.
Owen was a popular and talented member of our Scotter Sharks and Jets teams, representing the club in the Jack Kalson Junior League for several years.
As a mark of respect, the club has decided that all home matches this weekend will be preceded by a minute’s silence in memory of Owen.
We offer our sincere condolences to his family, friends and team-mates past and present, at this incredibly difficult time.
