Results may not have gone their way that often this season, but the U14 Juniors can be proud of their efforts over the course of the campaign.

Injuries, Covid and general unavailability has hindered their ability to establish a settled side, but their effort and determination never wains.

Last Sunday’s game against Bottesford Town Colts typified the sorts of problems they’ve encompassed this year – having to play with 10 men, and with forward Max featuring in goal as regular keeper Alfie recovers from a broken ankle.

But they battled well throughout, soaking up long spells of pressure before then trying to find a way to break and open up some space.
